9 Novembre 2012
Ore 18.30-20.00
Presso inlingua Sassari in
piazza Mazzotti, 6
Aula: “Silicon Valley”

What is your name?

Tony Estrada Mencarini

What is your position at inlingua and what do you like about your job?

I’m an English teacher. I like teaching classes that have students from all different age groups. inlingua Sassari is a very relaxed work environment and a great place to meet and get to know new people. I wake up happy to go to work in the morning!

Where are you from?

I grew up about 20 minutes from Washington, D.C. before moving to Virginia, where I attended the University of Virginia. I am of primarily Cuban and Italian descent.

Why did you choose Sardinia?

I’ve never lived close to the sea before, so the idea of living so close to the magnificent Mediterranean greatly appealed to me, especially considering that I love to scuba dive in my free time.

Do you speak other languages?

Spanish and brutal Italian (that is getting better). I studied Italian for two years at university and my Spanish is much more Latin American style as I learned it primarily through my travels there.
